
Dr. A. Scott Tully
Dr. Scott Tully is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, AL. He completed his residency in surgery and urology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
He has served as Past Secretary, Treasurer and President of the Birmingham Urology Club. He was also Past Secretary/Treasurer of the Alabama Urology Society and in 1999 was its President.
Dr. Tully is an active member of the American Medical Association, the American Urological Association and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama. He served on the Board of the Southeastern Urology Society for two years and served three years as a Treasurer of the Jefferson County Medical Society.
He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His interests include minimally invasive approaches to urological diseases such as incontinence, erectile dysfunction, stone disease and oncology.
He has particular interest in laparoscopic approaches to renal and prostate cancer. He has extensive experience in the laparoscopic robotic prostatectomy and is involved in training others in this technique.
Dr. Tully is board certified.
