Dr. Walter G. Pittman

 

Walter G. Pittman, M.D. is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, AL. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in surgery and urology.

Dr. Pittman is an active member of the Alabama Medical Association and the Jefferson County Medical Society, where he serves as County Counselor. He previously served on the Legislative Task Force, Board of Censors, and also on the Public Relations Committee as Chairman. He is a Past President of the Birmingham Clinical Club, the Birmingham Academy of Medicine and the Medical College Alumni Society.

A member of the Birmingham Urological Society, Dr. Pittman is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. His clinical interests include research and general urology.

Dr. Pittman is board certified.
